Context
Everyday objects had become collectables. The things people reach for most -  trainers, lighters, tote bags - started carrying cultural weight far beyond their function. Art materials never made that leap.

Opportunity
Off Black did. A paint that borrowed its logic from objects people feel something for. Not a product to use up. Something to own.
